Volunteer Information Session – August 26

CASA Minnesota is holding monthly information sessions. Please join us for one of these sessions if you are interested, have not yet completed your application, or simply have questions even after completing an application.

CASA Minnesota recruits individuals to become volunteer guardians ad litem for the state of Minnesota. The volunteer role has several significant requirements and operates at a professional level. Some of the key qualifications include:

• 21+ years old.
• Pass a comprehensive criminal background and reference check.
• Interview with the state of Minnesota and be selected for the program.
• Complete 40 hours of pre-service training.

Volunteers spend an average of 10–12 hours a month on their assigned case and are asked to commit until the case closes (an average of 18 months) to ensure stability for the child.
